And last but certainly not least, thank you SO MUCH to Collin and Ian for setting up the show at The Spaceship, and to all the friends and strangers who came out and supported us. However, John Cougar Millertime Space Camp, Oshwa, Uncle Ghost—literally everyone was bizarre and unique and impressive in the most unexpected of ways. Had to lug gear up three flights of stairs, but I gotta say it was worth it.

Nashville never looked so pretty as it did after two separate Waffle House stops and 9 hours in the van. My plan for the next few months is to start kickin’ up dust in Nashville with some shows—solo and with Honey Locust—while spending serious time writing new material. Come January or February, I’ll hopefully be starting to record an EP.

Thank you so much to everyone who housed, fed, cared for, and listened to us this past week. Our ability to organize our lives around our art depends on so much generosity from our communities—and we’ve already seen it happening. So keep it going. Burn CD’s for your friends, show them stuff online, drag them out to shows, and it all comes around in the end.
